Landmarks
Labels for the main regions of a page, such as header, navigation, main content and footer, that let agents skip straight to what they need.
Why it matters
Landmarks let an agent jump straight to your main content instead of reading every menu and banner first, which makes it faster and less likely to give up. They also help people using screen readers. Adding them is usually a small template change for your developers, done once for the whole site.
